SHOWERS EXITED THE QUAD STATE AREA TO THE EAST BY EARLY AFTERNOON
TODAY...AFTER LEAVING SCATTERED AMOUNTS OF RAIN FROM A TRACE TO A
TENTH OF AN INCH ON TUESDAY MORNING. MORNING CLOUD COVER KEPT LOW
TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 60S AND LOWER 70S. STRONG SOUTH WINDS AT
10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH ALLOWED TUESDAY TO WARM NICELY
INTO THE MID AND UPPER 70S BY 2 PM. SKIES WERE CLEAR OR PARTLY
CLOUDY BY MID AFTERNOON.

WARM HUMID AIR DOMINATES THE WEATHER FOR THE HEARTLAND THIS WEEK
BRINGING DAILY CHANCES OF SHOWERS AND STORMS THROUGH THE UPCOMING
WEEKEND. TEMPERATURES WILL BE ABOVE NORMAL FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK
WITH HIGHS THROUGH SATURDAY IN THE 80S AND LOWS IN THE 60S. THIS
WEEKEND A COLD FRONT IS EXPECTED TO MOVE IN AND PROVIDE SOME RELIEF
FROM THE HEAT AND PRECIPITATION.
