Skies were mostly clear overnight as sunrise temperatures bottomed
out in the 40s for the most part. During the day, plenty of sunshine
prevailed giving us mostly sunny skies. Temperatures at 2 pm ranged
from the lower 50s in the north to around 60 degrees in the extreme
south. Winds were northwest at 5 to 10 mph.
High pressure will remain in place through much of Friday
before giving way to an approaching frontal boundary from the
northwest. Precipitation chances will be likely late Friday night
through midday on Saturday. Behind this weather system, colder air
is expected to filter in giving us highs in upper 30s and lower 40s
and lows in the 20s through the first part of next week. After that,
near normal temperatures will return with highs in the 50s and lows
in the 30s.
