Weather Summary

Skies were clear in many areas overnight. However, an area of low
stratus clouds invaded southwest Indiana, southeast Illinois, and
northwest Kentucky after midnight. Temperatures ranged from the
lower to mid 50s at 3 am.

High pressure will move east across our region this weekend,
bringing dry conditions. Highs today will be mainly in the lower
to mid 70s. Sunday will be noticeably warmer, with highs in the
lower 80s.

Low pressure will develop over the Plains early next week. South
winds ahead of this system will bring warmer and more humid air
for Monday and Tuesday. Showers and thunderstorms will enter the
forecast on Tuesday, becoming more likely Wednesday and Wednesday
night as a weak cold front approaches our region from the west.

Highs will be in the lower to mid 80s Monday and Tuesday, and from
the upper 70s to lower 80s on Wednesday. Overnight lows will be in
the lower to mid 60s early next week.
