Regional Weather Summary
Issued by NWS Paducah, KY

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
338 AM CST Fri Nov 14 2014
At early morning skies were mostly cloudy across the region.
Temperatures ranged from the upper teens north to the mid 20s
south and winds were either calm or light out of the northwest.
Canadian high pressure will settle in over the mid Mississippi
valley today. Lighter winds and sunny skies will prevail today
although high temperatures will only warm into the mid to upper
30s. Over the weekend a couple of disturbances are expected to
produce light wintry precipitation as highs reach into the upper
30s to lower 40s both days. The first wave arrives Saturday
afternoon into the overnight hours. After somewhat of a respite on
Sunday, the second arrives Sunday night. Light snow accumulations
are possible with both features. In the wake of these systems,
cold Canadian high pressure will once again overspread the region
with highs in the low to mid 30s and lows in the upper teens to
lower 20s through the better part of next week.
