WEATHER SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
228 PM CST THU FEB 4 2016

Cloud cover hung on over the northeastern third of the region into
this morning. This resulted in warmer temperatures in the low to mid
30s there while the rest of the area experienced mid to upper 20s.
The clouds have slowly eroded through the day and ample sunshine
exists this afternoon. Temperatures haven`t warmed too much with
readings only in the mid 30s to low 40s as of 2pm. Northwest winds
of 5 to 10 mph have been common with a few higher gusts.

High pressure will keep dry conditions in place through the weekend.
The passage of a couple of weak low pressure troughs will result in
wind shifts and temporary increases in clouds at time. However,
there will still be periods of sunshine through Sunday. Highs will
be in the mid 40s to low 50s on Friday and moderate into the 50s
area wide by Sunday. Lows will also warm from the 20s tonight to
near the freezing mark this weekend. A strong cold front will pass
through Sunday night ushering in much colder weather during the
first half of the new week along with a chance of light snow showers.
