WEATHER SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
508 AM CST SAT FEB 28 2015

VARIABLY CLOUDY SKIES PREVAILED ACROSS THE QUAD STATE REGION FRIDAY.
TEMPERATURES ONLY MANAGED TO CLIMB INTO THE LOWER AND MID 20S BY
AFTERNOON. CLOUDS CONTINUED TO INCREASE ACROSS THE REGION FRIDAY
NIGHT...AND A FEW SNOWFLAKES WERE EVEN OBSERVED IN SOUTHEAST
MISSOURI LATE IN THE NIGHT. EARLY SATURDAY MORNING TEMPERATURES
RANGED FROM THE UPPER TEENS TO LOWER 20S WITH LIGHT NORTHEAST WINDS.

AN UNSETTLED WEATHER PATTERN WILL PREVAIL OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL
DAYS. A WEAK WEATHER SYSTEM WILL BRING THE POTENTIAL FOR MIXED
WINTRY PRECIPITATION LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO SUNDAY MORNING. THE
GREATEST IMPACT FROM ACCUMULATING SNOW AND FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED
OVER NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE QUAD STATE REGION. AFTER A BRIEF
REPRIEVE ON MONDAY...A PROLONGED PERIOD OF WET WEATHER IS FORECAST
MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT AS A MUCH STRONGER WEATHER
SYSTEM MOVES THROUGH. HEAVY RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ON
TUESDAY...WITH A TRANSITION TO MIXED WINTRY PRECIPITATION ON
WEDNESDAY AS ANOTHER BLAST OF ARCTIC AIR TAKES HOLD.
