Regional Weather Summary
Issued by NWS Paducah, KY
AWUS83 KPAH 262016
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
315 PM CDT WED AUG 26 2015
Partly cloudy skies were the rule overnight as sunrise temperatures
bottomed out in the lower and middle 50s. During the day...a mix of
clouds and sun prevailed with somewhat thicker clouds reported east
of a Wabash River to Land between the Lakes line. Temperatures at
3 pm ranged from the upper 70s to lower 80s.
Surface high pressure will be losing its grip on the region through
Friday as south winds finally develop. This will lead to warming
temperatures and increasing mostly through the upcoming weekend. A
weak upper level low pressure system will move into the heartland on
Saturday and could linger over the area for several days. As long as
it remains...a small chance of showers and thunderstorms will remain
in the forecast. Daytime highs will be in the middle to upper 80s
with nighttime lows in the 60s.
