...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL MASSAC...SOUTHERN POPE...
CENTRAL LIVINGSTON AND NORTHWESTERN MCCRACKEN COUNTIES THROUGH 230 AM
CDT...

At 147 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles southwest of Burna to 8 miles northeast
of La Center. Movement was east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Metropolis, Burna, and Joppa.

This includes Interstate 24 in Illinois between Mile Markers 28 and
36.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for southern
Illinois...and western Kentucky.
