...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR MOST OF WESTERN KENTUCKY UNTIL
345 PM CDT...

At 242 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from near Owensboro Kentucky southwest along
the Ohio River, then south to Mayfield Kentucky. Movement was east
at 40 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

The line of storms will move across the Lakes area of west Kentucky,
as well as the Madisonville, Princeton, and Cadiz areas by 345 pm.
The cities of Hopkinsville and Central City will be affected around
345 pm.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
