MUHLENBERG...CHRISTIAN...SOUTHEASTERN TRIGG AND TODD COUNTIES UNTIL
430 PM CDT...

At 342 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Central City to
Murray. Movement was east at 45 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.
Torrential rainfall rates of up to one inch in 20 minutes have been
reported in Murray, where one of the strongest storms was located.

Locations impacted include...
Hopkinsville, Cadiz, and Elkton, as well as all communities along
the Tennessee border east of Murray.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
