...HEAT AND HUMIDITY TO START THE WORK WEEK...

MAXIMUM HEAT INDEX VALUES MAY APPROACH 105 DEGREES ACROSS PORTIONS
OF SOUTHEAST MISSOURI...FAR WEST KENTUCKY AND PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN
ILLINOIS. HOWEVER...THERE IS ALSO A CHANCE OF WIDELY SCATTERED
THUNDERSTORMS WHICH COULD RESULT IN ADDED CLOUD COVER AND AFFECT
TEMPERATURES MONDAY AFTERNOON. SHOULD IT LOOK LIKE SEVERAL HOURS
OF HIGH HEAT INDICES...A HEAT ADVISORY MAY BE REQUIRED.

IT WILL BE OPPRESSIVELY HUMID AND HOT TUESDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY
WITH HEAT INDICES TOPPING OUT AROUND 105 DEGREES...POSSIBLY HIGHER
IN SOME AREAS. HEADLINES FOR THE HEAT WILL LIKELY BE REQUIRED.

PLAN ON TAKING THE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS TO DEAL WITH THE HEAT IN
THE COMING DAYS.
