...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHEASTERN GRAVES AND CALLOWAY
COUNTIES UNTIL 845 PM CDT...

AT 755 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING A LINE OF STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM NEAR BENTON TO 7 MILES EAST
OF MURRAY TO 8 MILES NORTHWEST OF DOVER...AND MOVING SOUTHWEST AT 35
MPH.

AT 746 PM CDT...A SPOTTER REPORT IN GREEN TURTLE BAY NEAR KENTUCKY
LAKE INDICATED THAT FOUR TO SIX INCH DIAMETER LIMBS WERE BROKEN DUE
TO WINDS ESTIMATED BETWEEN 40 AND 50 MPH.

WINDS 40 TO LOCALLY 50 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH STILL BE THESE
STORMS. IN ADDITION...LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN BETWEEN THREE QUARTERS TO
ONE AND HALF INCHES WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE. DANGEROUS LIGHTNING CAN
BE EXPECTED ALSO...SO SEEK SHELTER INDOORS AS THE STORMS APPROACH.

WIND GUSTS WILL INCREASE FROM THE NORTHEAST ANYWHERE FROM 5 TO 15
MINUTES AHEAD OF THE THUNDERSTORMS.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
MURRAY...HAZEL...KIRKSEY...NEW CONCORD...HARRIS GROVE AND CROSSLAND.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IS ALSO OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS...AND MAY
LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH FLOODED
ROADWAYS.

FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS.
LIGHTNING CAN STRIKE 15 MILES AWAY FROM A THUNDERSTORM. SEEK A SAFE
SHELTER INSIDE A BUILDING OR VEHICLE.

THESE STORMS MAY INTENSIFY...SO BE CERTAIN TO MONITOR LOCAL RADIO AND
TV STATIONS...AS WELL AS LOCAL CABLE TV OUTLETS...FOR ADDITIONAL
INFORMATION AND POSSIBLE WARNINGS FROM THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE.
