...PATCHY DENSE FOG A HAZARD EARLY THIS SUNDAY MORNING...

PATCHY DENSE FOG WILL BE POSSIBLE EARLY THIS MORNING ACROSS
PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN ILLINOIS...SOUTHEAST MISSOURI...AND FAR
WESTERN KENTUCKY. FOG DEVELOPMENT WILL BE MORE LIKELY IN LOW LYING
AREAS AND THOSE THAT ARE MORE PRONE TO FOG FORMATION.

GIVEN THE PATCHY NATURE OF THE FOG...TRAVELERS WILL NEED TO STAY
VIGILANT FOR SUDDEN REDUCTIONS IN VISIBILITY. DRIVE DEFENSIVELY BY
SLOWING DOWN...USING LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS...AND INCREASING YOUR
FOLLOWING DISTANCE.

THE FOG WILL PERSIST THROUGH DAYBREAK AND IS FORECAST TO BURN OFF
WITHIN A FEW HOURS AFTER SUNRISE.
