...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN JACKSON...NORTHEASTERN BOLLINGER...CENTRAL PERRY AND
NORTHWESTERN CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTIES...

At 721 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Sparta to near Perryville to 6 miles north of
Marble Hill, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Jackson, Chester, Perryville, Bollinger Mill State Historic Site,
Altenburg, Millersville, Burfordville, Daisy, Campbell Hill, Frohna,
Oak Ridge, Sedgewickville, Pocahontas, Longtown, and Old Appleton.

This includes Interstate 55 between Mile Markers 105 and 130.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
