MORNING...

.A SURGE OF WARMER AIR ALOFT WILL MOVE NORTH ACROSS OUR REGION
TONIGHT AND SUNDAY MORNING. THE WARMER AIR ALOFT WILL MOVE OVER A
SHALLOW LAYER OF COLD AIR NEAR THE SURFACE. THIS WILL RESULT
IN WIDESPREAD PRECIPITATION. THE PRECIPITATION WILL BEGIN AS SNOW
AND THEN GRADUALLY CHANGE OVER TO FREEZING RAIN BEFORE
TEMPERATURES FINALLY CLIMB ABOVE FREEZING SUNDAY MORNING.

* TIMING: LIGHT FREEZING RAIN WILL SPREAD EASTWARD INTO THE REGION
  THIS EVENING...POSSIBLY STARTING AS SNOW. OCCASIONAL LIGHT
  FREEZING RAIN WILL CONTINUE OVERNIGHT INTO SUNDAY MORNING.
  TEMPERATURES WILL CLIMB ABOVE FREEZING BY NOON SUNDAY.

* ACCUMULATIONS: ICE ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE LESS THAN A TENTH OF
