ARCTIC AIR IN PLACE AHEAD OF IT...PRECIPITATION WILL QUICKLY
TRANSITION FROM SNOW AND SLEET TO FREEZING RAIN THIS EVENING.

A WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST SATURDAY.

* TIMING: THIS EVENING THROUGH EARLY SATURDAY MORNING.

* AMOUNTS: SLEET ACCUMULATIONS MAY RANGE FROM 1 TO 2 INCHES ACROSS
  SOUTHWEST INDIANA TO A HALF AN INCH OR LESS ACROSS MUCH OF
  SOUTHEAST MISSOURI. ICE ACCUMULATIONS OF A QUARTER INCH OR MORE
  ARE POSSIBLE GENERALLY NORTH AND WEST OF A LINE FROM WINSLOW
  INDIANA TO PADUCAH TO FULTON KENTUCKY. SOUTH AND EAST OF THAT
  LINE ICE ACCUMULATIONS OF ONE TENTH TO ONE QUARTER INCH ARE
  POSSIBLE WITH THE LEAST AMOUNT EXPECTED OVER THE SOUTHERN
  PENNYRILE REGION OF WESTERN KENTUCKY. ICE ACCUMULATIONS OF UP
  TO ONE HALF INCH ARE POSSIBLE OVER PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST
  MISSOURI. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE OVER SOUTHWEST
  ILLINOIS...SOUTHEAST MISSOURI...AND FAR WESTERN KENTUCKY.

* IMPACTS: TRAVEL CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE TO DETERIORATE OVER THE
  AREA THROUGH THE EVENING AND EARLY OVERNIGHT HOURS. AREAS THAT
  GET ENHANCED ICING DUE TO THUNDERSTORMS COULD EXPERIENCE A FEW
  ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES. CONDITIONS SHOULD IMPROVE AS TEMPERATURES
  CLIMB ABOVE FREEZING FROM SOUTH TO NORTH EARLY SATURDAY MORNING.
