.DISCUSSION...

* A quick-hitting cold storm will bring strong winds, rain and
  snow, as well as cooler temperatures through Saturday night.
  Winds will quickly increase from the south-southwest this
  morning bringing gusts approaching 50 mph.

* Rain will turn to snow after 1400 PDT with total snowfall
  accumulations of 3 to 5" possible through midnight. Light snow
  showers are expected through Sunday morning.

* Beyond Sunday, there will be a slow warming trend with low
  chances for precipitation.

.SATURDAY...

Sky/Weather.........Cloudy. Rain likely in the late morning
                    changing to snow after 1400 PDT.
Temperature.........42 at ignition...Max 46-49.
RH..................79% at ignition...Min 69-74%.
20-Foot Winds.......Winds southwest at 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph
                    increasing to 35 mph with gusts to 50 mph by
                    1000 PDT. Winds will gradually taper through
                    the afternoon but will remain elevated from
                    the south around 20-25 mph with gusts 30-35
                    mph.
