...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT
SOUTHERN STOKES COUNTY THROUGH 730 PM EDT...

At 659 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Pinnacle, or near Pilot Mountain, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Danbury...
King...
Pine Hall...
Pinnacle...
Hanging Rock State Park...
and Capella.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
