...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM CDT THIS
EVENING FOR NORTH CENTRAL BROWN COUNTY...

At 928 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. The heaviest rainfall, estimated over 6
inches was along the northern Brown county line to Rising Star.
Highway 183 from north of May to Rising Star is likely flooded.
Flooding is being reported in Rising Star. Between 4 and 6 inches of
rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
