...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Kansas...

  Pottawatomie Creek at Lane affecting Franklin County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL TOMORROW AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast through this morning. Then minor flooding this afternoon.

* WHERE...Pottawatomie Creek at Lane.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Douglas Road floods about a quarter mile
  northwest of Lane.


* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:30 AM CDT Monday the stage was 24.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late this evening and continue falling to 6.2 feet Saturday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
