At 928 AM, National Weather Service radar detected isolated showers
and thunderstorms mostly in southeast Oklahoma, also in Arkansas
east of I49 and also north of I44 and west of highway 75. Showers
were heaviest in Choctaw county in Oklahoma and Madison county in
Arkansas. Movement was to the east at around 20 mph. The average
amount where it rained last hour was less than one tenth of an inch
with maximum amounts of one quarter to one half of an inch.
Coverage, and intensity increased during the last hour. The Tulsa
area forecast for late this morning and into this afternoon, partly
sunny, showers likely and a chance of thunderstorms with
temperatures 67 to 75 degrees and southwest winds up to 10 mph.
