...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM AKDT
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow and blowing snow with low visibility
  expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 10 inches. South
  winds gusting as high as 50 mph. Visibility one quarter mile
  or less at times.

* WHERE...Noatak Valley.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM AKDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Areas
  of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong south winds are causing areas of
  blizzard conditions this morning. Winds will decrease this
  afternoon and blizzard conditions will end then, but heavy
  snow will continue through Wednesday morning, with snow
  tapering off Wednesday afternoon.

* WHEN...From 4 PM this afternoon to 10 AM AKDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of snow could
  significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southwest winds gusting to 40 mph will
  decrease this morning. A mix rain and snow will occur today.
  Heavy snow is expected to develop this evening and continue
  through Wednesday morning, before changing back to a mix of
  rain and snow later Wednesday.

* WHERE...Eastern Norton Sound and Nulato Hills.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM AKDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. Areas of blowing snow
  could significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southwest winds gusting to 50 mph will
  decrease late this morning. A mix rain and snow will occur
  today. Heavier snow is expected to develop this evening and

  continue through Wednesday morning, before changing back to a
  mix of rain and snow later Wednesday. It is possible that snow
  may continue into Thursday.
