REST OF TODAY, WITH A SERIES OF UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES IN THE FLOW EXPECTED
TO HELP PRODUCE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS AROUND THE REGION. PRECIPITATION
SHOULD START OVER THE MOUNTAINS AND NEARBY LOWER AREAS EARLY, THEN SPREAD TO
THE EASTERN PLAINS THE REST OF THE DAY. LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN WILL BE A CONCERN
OVER AND NEAR BURN SCARS.

A WEAKER UPPER LEVEL FLOW SHOULD RETURN TO SOUTHERN COLORADO STARTING TUESDAY,
HELPING DECREASE THE MOISTURE OVER THE REGION TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY. SCATTERED
THUNDERSTORMS ARE STILL EXPECTED OVER THE MOUNTAINS TUESDAY, WITH ISOLATED
ACTIVITY ON THE PLAINS, FOLLOWED BY ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MAINLY
OVER THE HIGH COUNTRY IN THE MID WEEK.

THE FORECAST FOR PIKES PEAK, TELLER COUNTY AND THE RAMPART RANGE. LOOK FOR
MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES THE REST OF TODAY, WITH A GOOD CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS.
