.A STRONG STORM CROSSING THE PACIFIC BASIN WILL BRING AN EXTENDED
PERIOD OF HIGH SURF TO AREA BEACHES THIS COMING THURSDAY THROUGH
NEXT MONDAY. THIS VERY LARGE... LONG PERIOD WESTERLY SWELL HAS
THE POTENTIAL TO BRING THE HIGHEST SURF SEEN IN RECENT YEARS TO
THE THE CENTRAL COAST. VERY LARGE SURF WILL CREATE DANGEROUS
OCEAN CONDITIONS...AND HAZARDS TO BEACH AREAS INCLUDING THE
POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT COASTAL EROSION AND COASTAL FLOODING.
DAMAGE TO BEACH STRUCTURES SUCH AS PIERS MAY BE POSSIBLE...
ESPECIALLY FOR THE CENTRAL COAST. THE SURF IS EXPECTED TO PEAK

  BEACHES THROUGH THIS EVENING. SURF WILL SUBSIDE SOME TONIGHT
  AND WEDNESDAY. ANOTHER LARGE LONG PERIOD WEST SWELL WILL BRING
  HIGH SURF TO AREA BEACHES THURSDAY THROUGH MONDAY...WITH A
  CHANCE OF MUCH LARGER...DAMAGING SURF LATE FRIDAY THROUGH
  SATURDAY. SURF OF 8 TO 13 FEET THURSDAY AND FRIDAY WILL
  POSSIBLY BUILD TO 15 FEET OR HIGHER LATE FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.
