...REMARKS...A SERIES OF WEATHER SYSTEMS MOVING THROUGH THE AREA
BROUGHT ABOVE NORMAL RAINFALL AND TEMPERATURES TO EUREKA. DURING THE
BREAKS BETWEEN THESE WEATHER SYSTEMS, SKIES CLEARED OUT AND THERE
WERE SOME COOL TEMPERATURES. A LOW TEMPERATURE OF 36 DEGREES WAS
RECORDED ON THE 5TH WHICH TIED THE RECORD LOW LAST SET IN 1935.
OFFSHORE FLOW BEHIND A COUPLE OF THE SYSTEMS BROUGHT HIGH
TEMPERATURES IN THE 70S AND TWO RECORDS WERE SET. ON THE 21ST A HIGH
TEMPERATURE OF 75 WAS RECORDED BREAKING THE OLD RECORD OF 69 SET IN
1930. JUST FOUR DAYS LATER ON THE 25TH THE HIGH TEMPERATURE REACHED
74 BREAKING THE OLD RECORD OF 70 SET IN 1977.
