REMARKS...

THE MONTH OF OCTOBER AT THE FARGO HECTOR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT SITE
OVERALL WAS SLIGHTLY ABOVE NORMAL WITH RESPECT TO TEMPERATURES. THE
AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR THE MONTH WAS 47.5 WHICH WAS 2.0 DEGREES
ABOVE NORMAL.

PRECIPITATION FOR OCTOBER STARTED OFF STRONG WITH THREE CONSECUTIVE
DAYS WITH RECORDED PRECIPITATION. AFTER THE FIRST THREE DAYS THOUGH
ONLY ONE OTHER DAY GOT MORE THAN 0.2 INCHES OF LIQUID PRECIPITATION.
THE TOTAL LIQUID PRECIPITATION FOR THE MONTH WAS 0.77 WHICH IS 1.38
INCHES BELOW NORMAL. THE TOTAL SNOWFALL FOR THE MONTH WAS 0.4 INCHES
WHICH IS CLOSE TO THE NORMAL OF 0.7 INCHES.
