FOR THE GRAND FORKS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT APRIL 2016 WILL GO DOWN AS
A BIT COOLER AND WETTER THAN THE 30 YEAR CLIMATE AVERAGE. HIGH
TEMPERATURES WERE COOLER THAN AVERAGE DUE TO MORE CLOUDS AND
RAINFALL THAN A NORMAL APRIL. HOWEVER RAINFALL AT THE AIRPORT WAS
NEARLY ONE HALF INCH LESS THAN WHAT OCCURRED IN THE CITY OF GRAND
FORKS.

A MAXIMUM DAILY RAINFALL RECORD WAS SET ON APRIL 16TH WHEN 0.51
INCHES FELL. SNOWFALL WAS BELOW NORMAL WITH ONLY 0.3 INCH RECORDED.

REMEMBER...THIS DATA IS PROVISIONAL AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. THE
FINAL AND OFFICIAL RECORDS WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM THE NATIONAL
CENTERS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION (FORMERLY THE NATIONAL
CLIMATIC DATA CENTER).
