1031 AM CDT TUE SEP 30 2014

.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
EASTERLY WINDS WILL GRADUALLY TURN TO THE SOUTHEAST TODAY IN
RESPONSE TO A DEEPENING AREA OF LOW PRESSURE IN THE CENTRAL PLAINS.
THE NEXT COLD FRONT IS EXPECTED TO PUSH OFFSHORE EARLY FRIDAY. WINDS
WILL LIKELY REACH CAUTION LEVELS ACROSS THE OFFSHORE WATERS BOTH
BEFORE AND AFTER THE FRONTAL PASSAGE AS THE PRESSURE GRADIENT
TIGHTENS ACROSS THE REGION. NORTHEAST WINDS SHOULD DECREASE AND TURN
TO THE SOUTHEAST BY SUNDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE MOVES EAST OF THE UPPER
TEXAS COAST.
