IN SOUTHEAST SOUTH CAROLINA...
ALLENDALE...BEAUFORT...BERKELEY...CHARLESTON...COLLETON...
DORCHESTER...HAMPTON...JASPER...

IN SOUTHEAST GEORGIA...
BRYAN...BULLOCH...CANDLER...CHATHAM...EFFINGHAM...EVANS...
JENKINS...LIBERTY...LONG...MCINTOSH...SCREVEN...TATTNALL...

INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING RIVERS...
EDISTO...LOWER SANTEE...OGEECHEE...OHOOPEE...SAVANNAH...
CANOOCHEE...

MUCH OF SOUTHERN SOUTH CAROLINA AND PARTS OF FAR INLAND SOUTHEAST
GEORGIA ARE IN D0 OR ABNORMALLY DRY DROUGHT STATUS. THIS IS
RESULTING FROM ABOVE NORMAL FLOWS ON THE SANTEE RIVER AND EDISTO
RIVER...AND NEAR NORMAL FLOWS ON THE SAVANNAH RIVER AND ALTAMAHA
RIVER. AS MUCH AS 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAINFALL IS EXPECTED THIS
WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK...WITH A POTENTIAL FOR ADDITIONAL
RAINFALL NEAR THE END OF NEXT WEEK. THE ONE AND THREE MONTH
OUTLOOKS FROM THE CLIMATE PREDICTION CENTER INDICATE A 40 PERCENT
CHANCE OF BELOW NORMAL RAINFALL OVER THE AREA. THESE FACTORS
INDICATE THAT THE RIVER FLOODING POTENTIAL IS SLIGHTLY BELOW
NORMAL INTO THE SPRING.

THE NEXT WINTER/SPRING FLOOD POTENTIAL OUTLOOK WILL BE ISSUED ON
2 FEBRUARY 2017.
