The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Comanche County in southwestern Oklahoma...
  Southern Caddo County in southwestern Oklahoma...
  North central Cotton County in southwestern Oklahoma...

* Until 1145 PM CDT

* At 912 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to one inch of rain has
  already fallen. Flash flooding is occurring or is imminent.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Lawton, Anadarko, Cache, Elgin, Apache, Geronimo, Fletcher, Cyril,
  Sterling, Cement, Medicine Park, Faxon, Meers, Cogar, Lake
  Lawtonka, Boone, Fort Sill, Lake Ellsworth, Lake Chickasha and
  Stecker.

Additional rainfall amounts near an inch are possible in the warned
area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
