The National Weather Service in Wakefield has extended the

* Flood Advisory for...
  Southwestern Mecklenburg County in south central Virginia...

* Until 430 PM EDT Monday

* Runoff from heavy rainfall last week will continue to cause minor
  flooding through Monday afternoon. Inflow into the John H Kerr
  Reservoir...including from the Dan River...is causing increased
  water levels in the reservoir. VDOT and local law enforcement
  continue to report several road closures due to the ongoing
  flooding. A few of the roads impacted include State Routes
  688...693 and 702.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Clarksville, Boydton, Buffalo Springs, Richardson, Buffalo
  Junction, Finchley, Skipwith and John H Kerr Reservoir.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
