...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in
Nebraska...

  North Platte River near Henry affecting Scotts Bluff County
  North Platte River near Mitchell affecting Scotts Bluff County

.Hydrologic Summary:

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive through flooded areas. Move to higher ground. The water
may deep enough to float you and/or your vehicle.

The next statement will be issued Thursday morning.

* Flood Warning continues for
  The North Platte River near Henry
* The stage is near its crest at the flood stage of 5.5 feet.
* The stage will fall below flood stage by late Thursday morning.

* Impact...at 5.5 feet...Flood stage. Minor lowland flooding occurs.
  Homes along the North Platte River will have water in their
  basements.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 5.6 feet
  on Aug 20 1993.

* Flood Warning continues for
  The North Platte River near Mitchell
* The stage will crest around 8.8 feet later tonight.
* The stage will then begin a slow fall by tomorrow evening but
  but remain above flood stage through Saturday.

* Impact...at 9.5 feet...Major flooding occurs across southern
  portions of Scottsbluff. Major flooding of homes and agricultural
  land occurs near the river. Flood wave travel time from Mitchell to
  Scottsbluff is about 10 to 12 hours.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 9.0 feet
  on Jun 20 2010.
