...A FLOOD WARNING FOR SMALL STREAMS FOR RAIN AND SNOWMELT REMAINS IN
EFFECT UNTIL 1115 AM PDT TUESDAY FOR CENTRAL STEVENS COUNTY...

Flooding along the Colville River north of Colville remains as the
river runs high. Highway 395 between mileposts 231 and 233 remains
closed due to floodwater lingers over that portion of the highway.
The flooding in this area, as well as lowlands near the Colville
River, is expected to continue at least into early this week.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
