FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN LOWER MICHIGAN
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GAYLORD MI
356 PM EDT TUE MAY 26 2015

...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TONIGHT...

.DISCUSSION...FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS REMAIN LOW TONIGHT WITH SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVING THROUGH THE AREA. SOME OF THESE STORMS
COULD BE SEVERE...WITH DAMAGING WINDS THE MAIN THREAT. IN
ADDITION...AN ISOLATED TORNADO CANNOT BE RULED OUT. A FEW
LINGERING SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED INTO WEDNESDAY...WITH A BRIEF
PERIOD OF PRECIPITATION-FREE WEATHER ARRIVING ON THURSDAY. THERE
COULD BE A PERIOD OF SOME LOWER HUMIDITY LEVELS AT THAT TIME...BUT
IT WILL BE VERY SHORT LIVED...AS HEAT AND HUMIDITY INCREASE ONCE AGAIN
ON FRIDAY AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT. LOOK FOR MUCH COOLER CONDITIONS
THIS WEEKEND.
