.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...Light to moderate snow will
continue in the mountains today, with bands of brief heavy
snowfall possible along and south of the Interstate 70 corridor through
this afternoon.  Cooler with a chance of snow showers over the northeast
plains as well especially from around Denver south and east where a
a quick inch of snowfall may occur late this afternoon.  The snow
will decrease in the mountains overnight with strong northwest winds
developing in the Front Range Mountains and Foothills, with dry and
windy conditions spreading into the northeast plains as well later this
evening.

LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Wednesday through Saturday...
A northwest flow aloft is expected to bring cool and breezy
conditions to parts of the are Wednesday. High pressure building
over the region will be bring dry and warmer conditions for the last
part of the week and through the weekend.
