Fire Weather Forecast for Northeast and North Central Colorado
National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO
312 PM MDT Thu Jun 22 2017

.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Friday...Storms will continue to move
east across the area tonight. Post frontal air will be pushing
into the area from the northeast, bringing temperatures 10 to 20
degrees cooler by Friday. Humidity will recover nicely tonight,
with low stratus and fog expected across the Front Range foothills
including Park County and over the urban corridor through most of
Friday, limiting dispersion to poor. Isolated weak and wet storms
will be possible over the high terrain Friday afternoon, mainly
west of the divide, were dispersion will be much better.

LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Friday night through Tuesday...Stratus and more
stable conditions will continue through the weekend with another
cold front on Saturday. There is a chance of storms in the
mountains both Saturday and Sunday. The best chance of
thunderstorms each day will be over the higher terrain west and
south of Denver. Dispersion will continue to be poor through the
weekend with a more stable airmass in place.

...Thunderstorms imply strong gusty erratic winds...
...All surface winds are 20-Foot...10-Minute averaged winds...
...CWR is Chance of Wetting Rain - 0.10 inch or more liquid...
...24 HR Trends are based on averages over the respective zone
groups and may not match the actual forecast values
                    shown in those groups...
