Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central Pennsylvania
National Weather Service State College PA
245 PM EDT Sat Apr 29 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Pennsylvania will be the battle ground between 2 greatly
differing airmasses this weekend...leading to higher than average
chances for precipitation...as wavy, and nearly stationary
frontal boundary reside across western and southern Pennsylvania.
Shallow cool air will likely filter southward across the Northern
Mountains and into the Central Ridge and Valley region.

An area of rain showers will move northeast across north-central
PA into the late afternoon hours. Elsewhere, it will be generally
rain free.

A strong trough should bring cooler drier weather to the
region for the second part of next week.
