Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Michigan

.DISCUSSION...Approaching low pressure will slowly lift a frontal
boundary northward across lower Michigan tonight through early
Monday. Showers will increase from south to north late this afternoon
into tonight. Heavier and more steady rain will move into the area
early Sunday through Monday afternoon. Total rainfall north of the
M-59 corridor through Monday afternoon looks to range between two and
three inches, with lesser amounts between one and two inches as you
move southward. Temperatures will remain in the upper 40s to lower
50s this afternoon, then vary widely tomorrow with highs ranging from
the mid 40s over the saginaw valley and northern Thumb to around 70
near the Ohio border.
