THE THREAT FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH AT
LEAST THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK AS PERIODIC UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES
MOVE AROUND A RIDGE THAT WILL BE CENTERED NEAR THE MIDDLE AND LOWER
MISSISSIPPI VALLEY REGION. SOME OF THE THUNDERSTORMS TODAY AND
TONIGHT MAY APPROACH SEVERE LIMITS...CONTAINING DAMAGING WINDS AND
LARGE HAIL. TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE TO BE ABOVE NORMAL OVER THE
NEXT FEW DAYS...IN THE UPPER 80S TO AROUND 90. HOWEVER...HIGH
HUMIDITY VALUES WILL BRING HEAT INDEXES TO NEAR 100 IN SOME
