Fire Weather Planning Forecast
National Weather Service Lake Charles LA
322 PM CDT Sat Apr 29 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Strong and gusty winds will continue through this evening in
advance of an approaching cold front. A line of showers and
thunderstorms are expected to move across the region late tonight
through Sunday afternoon. Rains could be locally heavy at times
and total rainfall of two to four inches with locally higher
amounts are expected for most of the region. Winds will shift to
northwesterly and begin to decrease behind the front. The
northwesterly winds will usher in drier air and result in minimum
RH values during the day on Monday between 20 and 30 percent.
