.DISCUSSION...Very hot, dry weather continues this weekend. An
upper trough approaches from the southwest and brings a chance for
thunderstorms to much of the area Sunday afternoon through Monday
evening. The greatest concentration of storms will be in the
mountains. Storms may also occur Sunday night, and these would
tend to be dry, and are more likely to affect western valleys.
Significant lightning is possible with these storms and may lead
to increased initial attack.
