FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
National Weather Service Marquette MI
526 AM EDT Sat Apr 29 2017

...Dry today, then another storm system brings wet weather Sunday
and Monday with a soaking rainfall expected...

.DISCUSSION: High pressure building over northern Ontario will
provide mostly sunny skies today. Cool conditions will continue
with highs in the 40s near Lake Superior to the lower 50s south
central. Minimum relative humidity will fall to as low as 35
percent. The next storm system will move northeast into the Upper
Great Lakes on Monday. Ahead of the system, rain chances will
gradually increase from the south on Sunday with a period of
moderate to potentially heavy rainfall occurring Sunday night and
Monday morning. Unsettled weather, including some snow, will then
persist into Tuesday. The last half of next week will trend drier
with temperatures rising closer to normal.
