FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EASTERN WASHINGTON AND NORTH IDAHO
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SPOKANE WA
609 AM PDT THU JUL 31 2014

.DISCUSSION...

THERE WILL BE LITTLE CHANGE IN THE WEATHER PATTERN THROUGH THE END
OF THE WEEK AND OVER THE WEEKEND. IT WILL REMAIN HOT WITH
CONTINUED LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES. AN UPPER LEVEL HIGH
PRESSURE RIDGE WILL SHIFT SLIGHTLY EASTWARD...LEAVING THE FIRE
DISTRICTS IN WEAK SOUTHWEST FLOW ALOFT. THERE WILL BE A FEW WEAK
IMPULSES IN THE FLOW BRINGING ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS DURING THE
AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS...AND BRIEF HEAVY DOWNPOURS ARE
POSSIBLE UNDERNEATH THE CORE OF THE STORMS. WINDS WILL REMAIN
RELATIVELY LIGHT AND TERRAIN DRIVEN...ALTHOUGH IT WILL BE GUSTY AT
TIMES IN THE CASCADE VALLEYS.
