FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR THE HEARTLAND
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
346 PM CST SAT FEB 13 2016

.DISCUSSION...
A HAZARDOUS WINTER WEATHER SYSTEM PASSES THROUGH THE QUAD STATE AREA
SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT. SNOW WILL BECOME LIKELY AT MOST LOCATIONS BY EARLY TO MID
MORNING. AS WARMER AIR ENTERS FROM THE SOUTHWEST AND WORKS ITS WAY NORTHEAST,
PRECIPITATION WILL TRANSITION TO RAIN SUNDAY NIGHT...WITH A CHANCE FOR
SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN DURING THIS TRANSITION.

ANOTHER SYSTEM APPROACHES FROM THE NORTHWEST AND IMPACT PARTS OF THE AREA TUESDAY.
TEMPERATURES MAY BE COLD ENOUGH IN THE EVANSVILLE TRI STATE REGION THAT
PRECIPITATION COULD BE MIXED AS IT STARTS IN THE MORNING, BUT IT WILL WARM UP
ENOUGH TUESDAY TO EVENTUALLY ALL CHANGE TO RAIN BEFORE POSSIBLY ENDING AS SOME
SNOW SHOWERS TUESDAY EVENING IN THE EVANSVILLE TRI STATE REGION.
