.DISCUSSION...

A large upper level disturbance will bring widespread rain and
snow showers today. Snow should remain above 4000 feet for most
areas...with accumulating snow remaining above 4500 feet. Winds
will switch to the north northeast for most areas...and be a bit
breezy at times today. RH values will be high with cold
temperatures. Precipitation goes on a diminishing trend tonight.
Continued cool conditions...light winds...and some scattered
showers are then expected for Saturday.
