AT THIS TIME LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN IS FALLING ACROSS THE
COAST AND COASTAL INTERIOR ZONES. THE RAIN BAND WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EAST
ACROSS THE INTERIOR ZONES AND IS EXPECTED TO BE EAST OF THE REGION BY JUST
AFTER SUNRISE. RAIN AMOUNTS THUS FAR HAVE RANGED FROM 0.50 TO 0.75 INCHES
ACROSS DEL NORTE COUNTY...WHILE HUMBOLDT COUNTY HAS RANGED FROM 0.25 TO 0.50
INCHES WITH GREATER AMOUNTS AROUND OROGRAPHICALLY ENHANCED AREAS. AS THE RAIN
BAND MOVES INTO TRINITY COUNTY IT WILL WEAKEN CONSIDERABLY THUS LESSER AMOUNTS
ARE EXPECTED. ISOLATED LIGHT SHOWER ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED AROUND THE NORTH
COAST ZONES THROUGH THE DAY BUT ANY SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL IS NOT EXPECTED.
ANOTHER WEAK SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO PASS THE NORTHERN ZONES ON SUNDAY MORNING
BUT ONLY VERY LIGHT RAIN AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED. FAVORABLE FIRE WEATHER
CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH NEXT WEEK AS A COOL AND RELATIVELY MOIST LOW
LEVEL AIRMASS IS EXPECTED THROUGH NEXT WEEK
