An incoming weather system will spread rain across the North Bay
this evening, and then south across most of the rest of the district
overnight and early Monday. Greatest rainfall amounts are expected
in the North Bay where locally heavy rain is possible tonight.
Rainfall will end in most areas by midday Monday. Dry weather is
then forecast through Tuesday and Tuesday night. The next weather
system will likely bring soaking rains to the entire district
Wednesday and Wednesday night. Showers will continue into Thursday
with dry weather expected to return by the end of the week.

...Discussion from SFOFWFSTO...

Rain and mountain snow will spread across the north state today as
a Pacific frontal system crosses through the region. Light to
occasionally moderate rain and snow are expected with this system
before a transition to showers Monday afternoon. A brief break
Monday night and Tuesday will be followed by more rain and mountain
snow Tuesday night and Wednesday as a somewhat stronger weather
system moves through the region. Showers at the end of the week will
be followed by a drying period next weekend.
