...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

High pressure over the region will kick the warming trend into full
gear this weekend as offshore winds set up across the fire district.
Moderate and gusty north to northeast winds are forecast for
tonight into Saturday across the North and East Bay Mountains with
frequent gusts to 35 mph. Temperatures over the weekend are expected
to reach into the 80s over the warmest inland valleys. Temperatures
will continue to warm into early next week with temps warming into
the lower 90s. Along with significantly warmer temperatures another
round of gusty offshore flow is expect early Monday. Warm and dry
conditions will prevail through mid week with poor humidity
recoveries and rapidly drying fine fuels. Models begin to break
down the ridge by Thursday with cooler and more seasonal
temperatures expected through the end of the week.

...Discussion from SFOFWFSTO...

High pressure over the eastern Pacific and low pressure over the
southern Great Basin will bring breezy north winds today with the
highest winds this afternoon and evening. Daytime highs will reach
up to normal today with the north winds bringing lower RH most
areas. Lighter winds are expected this weekend allowing daytime
humidity to climb slightly. Warming continues through the middle of
next week with generally dry conditions and breezy north winds at
times.
