NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LA CROSSE.

.DISCUSSION...A VERY WARM AND DRY AIRMASS WILL SPREAD OVER THE BURN
AREA TODAY. HIGHS TODAY ARE GOING TO BE SOME 10-15 DEGREES ABOVE
NORMAL. MINIMUM HUMIDITIES THIS AFTERNOON WILL DROP INTO THE 25
PERCENT RANGE. WEST TO SOUTHWEST WINDS OF 10 TO 15 MPH WITH SOME
GUSTS OF 20 TO 25 MPH ARE EXPECTED LATE THIS MORNING AND THRU MUCH OF
THE AFTERNOON...MAKING FOR ELEVATED FIRE DANGERS ACROSS MUCH OF
MN/IA/WI THIS AFTERNOON. A STRONGER COLD FRONT WILL MOVE SOUTH ACROSS
THE AREA TONIGHT...BRINGING WITH IT A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS. HOWEVER MOST RAIN AMOUNTS WILL BE LESS THAN 1/10 INCH.
WINDS WILL SWING AROUND TO THE NORTHWEST AND NORTH AROUND MIDNIGHT AS
THE FRONT MOVES ACROSS THE BURN AREA. TEMPERATURES BEHIND THE FRONT
WILL BE NEAR NORMAL ON SATURDAY...WITH AFTERNOON HUMIDITIES STILL ON
THE LOW SIDE IN THE 25 TO 30 PERCENT RANGE.
