.DISCUSSION...High pressure and the upper level ridge that has
been lingering offshore earlier in the week will give way to a
passing upper level shortwave late Thursday into Friday. This will
provide a transition from light winds and warming temperatures to
breezy conditions and cooler temperatures Thursday evening
onward. Winds are expected to peak on Friday before slowly
subsiding late Friday, with directions primarily out of the
northwest through the period. Good recoveries are anticipated
through the week, but afternoon humidities will be steadily
declining to near single digits by Friday.
