FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure of 29.9 inches over northeast Indiana
and another low of 29.5 inches over southwest Ontario will merge
over Michigan this evening and deepen rapidly to a strong 28.9
inch low near the Straits by early Tuesday. The low will remain
nearly stationary the rest of Tuesday and then lift to Quebec
Wednesday and weaken. Low pressure of 29.4 inches will move into
the Dakotas Wednesday and to the northwestern Lakes Thursday night.

increasing to gales to 40 kt late this evening...then becoming
northwest gales to 45 kt after midnight. Showers. Waves 2 to 4 ft
building to 8 to 12 ft occasionally to 16 ft.
.TUESDAY...Northwest storm force winds to 50 kt. Showers. Waves 8
to 12 feet occasionally to 16 feet building to 12 to 16 feet
occasionally to 21 feet.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Northwest storm force winds to 50 kt diminishing
to gales to 40 kt. Rain showers likely in the evening...then
chance of rain showers overnight. Waves 12 to 16 ft occasionally
to 21 ft subsiding to 10 to 14 ft occasionally to 18 ft late.
.WEDNESDAY...Northwest gales to 35 kt diminishing to 15 to 25 kt.
Chance of rain showers in the morning. Waves 8 to 12 ft
occasionally to 16 ft subsiding to 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8
ft.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...West winds 10 to 20 kt becoming southwest.
