MINNESOTA...CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA...NORTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA AND
NORTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A FEW THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE TONIGHT ACROSS CENTRAL SOUTH
DAKOTA AND PERHAPS AS FAR EAST AS THE JAMES RIVER. THE SEVERE
STORM THREAT IS MINIMAL OVER OUR FORECAST AREA...WITH THE BEST
CHANCE FOR ANY STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS BEING ACROSS WESTERN SOUTH
DAKOTA THIS AFTERNOON...AND A MARGINAL THREAT OVER NORTH CENTRAL
SOUTH DAKOTA THIS EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER WESTERN AND
CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA BY LATE AFTERNOON TUESDAY...THEN SPREAD EAST
ACROSS SOUTH DAKOTA INTO THE EVENING HOURS. LARGE HAIL AND STRONG
WINDS ARE THE MAIN THREATS. AN ENHANCED RISK FOR SEVERE STORMS
EXISTS ACROSS CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND
EVENING...WITH THE SEVERE STORM THREAT PUSHING AS FAR EAST AS
NORTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA BY EVENING.
