THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH TEXAS AND THE MIDDLE
TEXAS COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND
EARLY EVENING ACROSS PRIMARILY THE BRUSH COUNTRY AND FAR INLAND
COASTAL PLAINS. IF STORMS DEVELOP...THEY MAY BECOME STRONG TO
SEVERE.

INCREASING EASTERLY FLOW AND ALREADY HIGH TIDAL LEVELS MAY LEAD TO
MINOR COASTAL FLOODING TODAY AND TONIGHT. A COASTAL FLOOD
ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR COASTAL AREAS UNTIL MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. A
HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS ALSO EXISTS TODAY AND TONIGHT ALONG GULF
FACING BEACHES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING THUNDERSTORMS WILL
BE POSSIBLE ACROSS INTERIOR PORTIONS OF SOUTH TEXAS...MAINLY NORTH
AND WEST OF CORPUS CHRISTI. SOME OF THESE STORMS MAY BE SEVERE
AND CONTAIN LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS.

SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE
ACROSS A LARGER PORTION OF SOUTH TEXAS LATE FRIDAY NIGHT INTO
SATURDAY. ONCE AGAIN...LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS WILL BE THE
PRIMARY THREATS. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL AGAIN BE POSSIBLE ON MONDAY DUE TO A
SLOW MOVING COLD FRONT AND ABUNDANT MOISTURE. SOME STORMS MAY BE
STRONG TO SEVERE WITH LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS. HEAVY RAIN
WILL BE POSSIBLE.

SMALL CRAFT ADVISORIES WILL LIKELY BE NEEDED ON FRIDAY AND
SATURDAY DUE TO BUILDING SEAS AND STRENGTHENING ONSHORE FLOW. DUE
TO THESE HIGH SEAS AND STRONG ONSHORE FLOW...TIDAL LEVELS WILL
REMAIN AT LEAST 1 TO 1.5 FEET ABOVE NORMAL THROUGH MONDAY. AS A
RESULT...A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY MAY BE NEEDED THROUGH MONDAY.
THE LARGE SWELLS ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY WILL MAINTAIN A HIGH THREAT
OF RIP CURRENTS THROUGH AT LEAST SATURDAY.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT ANTICIPATED AT THIS TIME.
