ILLINOIS...NORTHWEST ILLINOIS...WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS...EAST
CENTRAL IOWA...NORTHEAST IOWA...SOUTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THE STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS A MODERATE RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
IN WESTERN ILLINOIS...WITH A SLIGHT RISK OVER THE REMAINDER OF THE
OUTLOOK AREA AS FAR NORTH AS HIGHWAY 30. SUPERCELLS ARE POSSIBLE THIS
AFTERNOON AS A WARM FRONT LIFTS NORTHWARD INTO THE AREA...WITH THE
MAIN THREATS LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS. ISOLATED TORNADOES ARE
ALSO POSSIBLE. THIS EVENING THE STORMS SHOULD ORGANIZE INTO A LARGE
CONVECTIVE COMPLEX WITH DAMAGING WINDS THE MAIN THREAT. TORRENTIAL
RAINS IN A SHORT TIME MAY ALSO CAUSE LOCAL FLASH FLOODING.
