THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NM.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING COOLER TEMPERATURES AND MORE
PRECIPITIATON TO SOUTHERN NEW MEXICO AND FAR WEST TEXAS TODAY. SNOW
AMOUNTS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES ARE LIKELY OVER THE HIGHEST ELEVATIONS...WITH
1 TO 3 INCHES BETWEEN ABOVE 6000 FT. EVEN THE LOWLANDS COULD SEE
PERIODS OF RAIN AND SNOW MIX. LITTLE TO NO LOWLAND SNOW
ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED TODAY. HOWEVER SOME LOCATIONS MAY SEE A
BRIEF DUSTING OF SNOW. TONIGHT PARTS OF SOUTHERN HUSDPETH COUNTY
COULD SEE UP TO ONE INCH OF SNOW. ROADS MAY BECOME WET AND
POSSIBLY SLICK WITH SOME BLACK ICE THIS MORNING...AND ESPECIALLY
OVERNIGHT OVER HUDSPETH COUNTY. THIS WILL CREATE TRAVEL CONCERNS
DUE TO SLICK ROAD SURFACES. COLD TONIGHT WITH TEMPERATURES IN THE
MID 20 MOST LOWLAND LOCATIONS WILL CAUSE HEALTH AND SAFETY
CONCERNS FOR PEOPLE AND PETS. ALSO TEND TO SENSITIVE PLANTS AND
EXPOSED PIPES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

FAIR...DRY...AND COOL THROUGH THE WEEKEND. WARMER AND CONTINUED
DRY MONDAY. A STRONG COLD FRONT ARRIVES FROM THE EAST FOR MUCH
COOLER CONDITIONS BEGINNING TUESDAY THROUGH THE REST OF THE WEEK.
A PACIFIC STORM WILL TRACK OVER THE BORDERLAND LATE WEDNESDAY
THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY. CHANCE FOR SNOW EVENT FOR LATE WEDNESDAY
THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY PERIODS.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW ACROSS THE SACRAMENTO
MOUNTAINS THROUGH NOON TODAY...

A PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING COOLER TEMPERATURES AND MORE
PRECIPITIATON TO THE SACRAMENTO MOUNTAINS THROUGH THE MORNING
HOURS TODAY. SNOW AMOUNTS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES ARE LIKELY OVER HIGHER
ELEVATIONS...WITH 1 TO 3 INCHES LOWER ELEVATIONS. THIS WILL CREATE
TRAVEL CONCERNS WITH SNOWPACKED AND ICY ROADS TODAY. THE SNOW IS
EXPECTED TO WAIN IN THE EARLY AFTERNOON HOURS. TONIGHT WILL BE
COLD WITH ICY ROADS LIKELY. ALSO QUITE COLD TONIGHT WITH
TEMPERATURES IN THE SINGLE-DIGITS AND TEENS ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS.
CAUSE FOR CONCERN FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY CONCERNS FOR PEOPLE AND
